Onboarding a ClearBox user combines three steps into one flow: capturing a profile, linking a funding source, and verifying identity. Only after all three does the user receive a wallet.

The sequence

1

Profile & bank link

The user submits a profile and links their bank through the embedded Quiltt connector. See Link a bank with Quiltt.
2

Cross-reference

ClearBox matches the submitted profile against the bank’s account-owner metadata.
3

Identity verification

ClearBox runs a ClearCheck inquiry (Persona). See Verify identity.
4

Wallet provisioning

On approval, ClearBox provisions a wallet. See Create a wallet.

Why this order

Linking the bank first lets ClearBox cross-reference real account-owner data against the submitted profile, strengthening the identity check that follows. Verifying identity before provisioning a wallet ensures no wallet exists for an unverified user.
