Every verified ClearBox user has a wallet: an embedded, non-custodial smart-contract wallet that holds their stablecoin balance and backs their card. The wallet is invisible — no seed phrase, no gas prompts, no raw signing.

Create a wallet

Provision a wallet for a verified user.

Fund a wallet (ACH)

Move fiat into the wallet as USDC.

Balances

Read available and settled balances.

Issue a card

Derive a spendable card from the wallet.

Key properties

  • Non-custodial — keys are managed by Crossmint’s signer infrastructure; ClearBox never holds them. See The non-custodial model.
  • Gasless — ClearBox can sponsor gas so users never hold native tokens.
  • Identity-bound — each wallet maps to one verified ClearCheck identity.
